Colouring books for children can be a real lifesaver when little ones get bored. Weddings and parties include long stretches that adults enjoy, but children find slow.
I’m Tim Daymond, a DJ since 1976. I’ve watched countless children wait patiently through speeches and dinners. So I created a range of colouring books. They help parents relax and give children something fun to do.
My Colouring Book Range
These are printable, downloadable books, so you can print as many copies as you need. Each one has a theme that children love.
- Mr Waffles: A friendly dog with plenty of character.
- Hot Air Balloons: Bright skies full of balloons to colour.
- Animals: Cute creatures, including a pair of alpacas.
- Dragons: Fearsome dragons surrounded by flowers.
- Unicorns: Magical unicorns in flowery fields.
- Mystical: Enchanted forests and friendly witches.
- Spaceships: Rockets and adventures for young astronauts.
You can buy and download them at EbookMee. For example, see the Dragon Colouring Book. Also, look out for my wedding planners and event organisers on the same site.

Setting Up a Kids’ Table
A simple activity table keeps children close by and happily busy. Here’s how I’d set one up.
- Print one book per child. Then add their name to the cover.
- Choose crayons or pencils. They are far kinder to white tablecloths than markers.
- Seat the table near parents. Yet keep it away from the dance floor.
- Time it well. Bring the books out for speeches and the meal.
At home, children can also try watercolour paints, markers or crayons for different effects.
Tim’s tip: Once the dancing starts, the colouring books usually get forgotten. That’s exactly when I bring the children onto the dance floor.

Turn Their Artwork Into Gifts With Dizzy Designs
When a masterpiece is finished, scan it or take a clear photo. Then upload it to my Dizzy Designs shop, and add it to a T-shirt or other product.
- Personalise anything: Add text, images or logos to your chosen product.
- Plenty of choice: Hoodies, T-shirts, tank tops, stickers, bags, badges, aprons and pillows.
- Gifts for everyone: Designs for women, men, children and babies.
- Peace of mind: Delivery straight to your door, with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
It makes a lovely keepsake for grandparents, or a memento of a family wedding. Also, if you’d like a personalised drawing for your product, call me on 01760 722283 or email info@mobiledisconetwork.com.
More Fun for Young Guests
Colouring is perfect for quiet moments. But when it’s time to dance, children need music and games they can join.
I play children’s parties from £225, with games, prizes and kid-friendly music. At weddings, I always make sure younger guests feel included. And my software cuts swearing out of songs, so the music stays family friendly.
For a birthday, see my milestone party guide. Also, I’m Trading Standards Approved and hold an Enhanced DBS check.
