Many of the county’s finest rooms sit inside listed buildings. As a result, sound limiters and noise curfews are common.

In short, a limiter cuts the power if the volume passes a set level. So I check the sensor position, set my levels early and keep the floor busy within the limit. I’ve never left a dance floor silent from a limiter cut.
