Mobile Disco Prices: A Guide to My Packages

Here are my published packages, starting with children’s parties. In addition, every one includes professional sound, lighting and my personal service all evening.

What Changes Mobile Disco Prices? A Quick Guide

Several things move a DJ quote up or down. So this part of my mobile disco prices guide explains each one, which helps you compare quotes fairly.

• Length of the booking. Naturally, an evening disco costs less than a full wedding day.
• Type of event. Weddings need extra planning, for example timings, announcements and a first dance.
• Day and season. Summer Saturdays are, of course, the most popular dates of the year.
• Equipment and extras. Professional sound and lighting also cost more to buy and maintain.

Sunday to Thursday dates are quieter, so a midweek discount may apply. Then simply check your date to see. Also, I include travel anywhere in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. That means there’s no mileage charge on top.

Extras such as uplighters or a snow machine aren’t on my price list. Instead, I offer discounted extras in your client portal after booking.

What Every Package Includes

A fair quote lists everything you pay for. For example, here’s what comes with every one of my party disco prices and wedding DJ packages.

• Professional sound and lighting, which I always test before guests arrive.
• £10 million public liability insurance and PAT-tested kit.
• A playlist planner in your portal, with must-plays and do-not-plays.
• Live song requests, so guests can ask for favourites by QR code.
• Software that cuts swearing out of tracks, so the night stays family friendly.
• A written contract, which you sign in your client portal.

Tim’s tip: ask every DJ for a fixed price quote in writing. That way, you can compare like with like.

Using This Mobile Disco Prices Guide to Judge Low Quotes

A very low quote can be tempting, especially early in your planning. Still, it’s worth checking what that price leaves out.

For example, many venues ask for public liability insurance and PAT certificates before setup. Without them, the venue can therefore turn a DJ away. As a result, a cheap booking can become expensive on the night.

How Paying for Your Disco Works

Paying for your entertainment should feel simple and secure. That’s why every booking starts with a fixed price quote, then follows these steps.

1. Check your date on my availability checker, and see the packages for your event.
2. Secure your date with a 45% deposit by card or bank transfer.
3. Spread the rest with a monthly payment plan if you wish.
4. Pay the balance no later than four weeks before your event.

Please note the deposit is non-refundable. However, your contract, receipts and certificates all wait in your client portal. Read more about my monthly payment plan options.
