DJ hire payment plans make professional entertainment easier to budget for. With the cost of living still biting, very few families want one enormous bill arriving all at once.

I’m Tim Daymond, and I’ve been a DJ since 1976. So I introduced monthly instalments to help people organise the celebration they genuinely want, without unnecessary financial pressure.

How My DJ Hire Payment Plans Work

  1. Check your date. Use my availability checker, and I’ll send a proposal, usually within two to three hours.
  2. Secure your date. A 45% deposit by card or bank transfer locks in your booking.
  3. Spread the balance. Next, pay the remainder in comfortable monthly amounts that suit your household budget.
  4. Finish four weeks before. The final payment clears no later than four weeks before your event.

Meanwhile, your invoice, payments and contract all live in your client portal. So you can see exactly what you’ve paid at any time. My guide to the booking portal explains how it works.

A Simple Worked Example

For example, let’s take my Evening wedding package, which starts from £750. The deposit comes to £337.50, leaving £412.50 to pay.

Now, imagine your wedding is approximately a year away. That gives you roughly ten or eleven months before the final payment date. As a result, the balance works out at around £40 a month.

Similarly, a birthday Disco Experience at £450 leaves £247.50 after the deposit. So over six months, that’s about £41 a month.

Booking with less time to spare? Then the monthly amounts are larger, but you still avoid one single payment. Either way, I agree the figures with you before you commit.

Tim’s tip: Book early to get the smallest monthly amounts. After all, more months means a lighter payment each time.

Package Prices You Can Spread

I publish every price, and I include travel anywhere in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. So the price you see is the fixed price you pay.

Package Price What you get
Wedding Afternoon From £525 Ceremony and wedding breakfast music, radio mics for speeches
Wedding Evening From £750 7pm to midnight, full disco sound and lighting
Wedding All Day From £1,250 Up to nine hours, from ceremony to last song
Party Disco Experience £450 Birthdays, anniversaries, retro and seasonal parties
Party VIP Bundle £1,050 Disco plus extra party features
Children’s Parties and Proms £225 to £950 Four packages for kids’ parties and school proms

For every package, see my DJ hire prices guide. Also, discounted extras appear in your client portal after booking.

Who DJ Hire Payment Plans Help Most

Couples planning a wedding. Weddings involve numerous suppliers, and the invoices often arrive together. Therefore, spreading the entertainment cost makes your overall wedding budget considerably easier to manage. See my wedding packages for details.

Birthday and anniversary parties. Milestone birthdays deserve a proper celebration, so a plan lets you reserve your date immediately and pay gradually. Find out more on my birthday and anniversary page.

Single parents and family celebrations. I’m especially pleased that monthly instalments help single parents, particularly while the cost of living stays high. In fact, many give their children an amazing children’s party with small, regular payments.

Whoever you are, you still receive exactly the same professional service. I play every booking myself, and I’m Trading Standards Approved under the Norfolk County Council scheme.

Free Budgeting Tools

Sensible budgeting removes much of the worry from celebration planning. That’s why I built these free tools, and they all work on your phone.

DJ Hire Payment Plans: Your Questions

Is there any interest or extra charge?

No. You simply pay the same fixed price, just spread comfortably over several months.

How do I pay each month?

You pay by card through Stripe or by bank transfer. Then each payment shows on your invoice straight away.

Is the deposit refundable?

No, the 45% deposit is non-refundable, because it reserves your date for you alone.

When must the balance be paid?

The balance must clear no later than four weeks before your event.

Can I use a plan for a children’s party?

Yes, of course. Plans work for every package, from children’s discos to complete wedding days.
