Why the NADJ Feature Matters

The NADJ is not a commercial directory. It is a Community Interest Company (CIC), a formally constituted not-for-profit body. It exists to serve the UK DJ industry and its clients, and members follow a published Code of Conduct.

So a feature on the NADJ’s own platform carries real weight. Tim has been an NADJ member since 2013, and the association chose to tell his story.

What the NADJ Feature Covers

The feature covers the full Mobile Disco Network story.

50 Years of DJ Work

Tim started performing in 1976. He has not missed a single contracted booking in five decades.

22 Regional and National Awards

These include the Prestige Awards and the Ixion Enterprise Awards. The wins span many years and categories. See the full list on the awards and recognition page.

Named Endorsements

The feature includes named testimonials. Senior people from Dunston Hall Hotel in Norwich, Broads Tours in Wroxham and the Mayor of Watton all contributed quotes.

Trading Standards Approval

The feature recognises Tim’s Trading Standards approval through Norfolk County Council. He is Norfolk’s only Trading Standards Approved DJ, under Trusted Trader ID 0000457. Read what being Trading Standards Approved means for you.

Community Service

The feature also records 12 years in a row of PA support for the Watton Christmas Light Festival. In addition, it notes Tim’s sixth-year Christmas residency at Dunston Hall Hotel.

Tim Daymond in His Own Words

“Fifty years in, and I still get the same feeling walking into a venue. The NADJ recognition means a great deal – this is the trade body I have trusted throughout my career, and to have my story told on their platform is genuinely humbling. The awards matter, but what matters more is the dancefloor. That has never changed.”
